Making your Nitti Safety Footwear go the extra mile
Nitti Safety Footwear is designed to be extremely robust and can be worn in most industrial environments. Selection of suitable footwear must be made according to the specific needs of the job, types of hazards encountered and working conditions. For optimum protection and durability, we recommend regular cleaning and inspection of your Nitti footwear, and prompt replacement of excessively worn or damaged footwear.
Boot care
Regular cleaning and wax polishing will help enhance the durability of your boot. Rinse boot with water after exposure to cement, as it will cause the leather upper to dry and cracks to form. Do not wash your boots. Wet boots should be air dried naturally at room temperature, with cushion foot bed and laces removed, and boots opened fully. Never force dry or use strong detergents or caustic cleaning agents. Antistatic properties can be changed significantly by flexing or contamination, if worn in wet conditions and with wear over time.
Storage
Always air and dry footwear after each day’s use and keep your footwear in dry, cool and well-ventilated conditions. Never store under direct sunlight.
